Description
The University of Texas at Austin, on behalf of Applied Research Laboratories, is soliciting bids for the design, fabrication, testing, and delivery of a self-contained custom hydraulic power unit with remote pendant control. The unit must power a Pullmaster M25-7-86-4 hydraulic tugger with automatic brake and external brake-circulation cooling in a harsh offshore marine environment. The HPU must provide at least 2,500 psi continuous operating pressure and 40 GPM flow, support local and remote proportional controls, include a 75 HP marine-duty electric motor, weatherproof marine-grade components, a corrosion-resistant skid and reservoir, safety interlocks, cooling, lifting and securing provisions, and a 50-foot marine power cable. The contractor must provide detailed drawings for approval before fabrication, complete technical documentation, a bill of materials, as-built mechanical and hydraulic/electrical schematics, component cut sheets, recommended spare parts, and a documented factory acceptance test before shipment. A minimum one-year warranty is required, and the desired delivery date is on or before January 18, 2027. Bidders must submit firm fixed pricing, delivery information, the completed pricing schedule and bid table, a signed VetHUB subcontracting plan, required company information, and any conditional exception materials.
