Description
Portland State University is seeking qualification submissions from contractors that can directly perform one or more construction-related service categories, including access controls, fire alarm and fire protection systems, mechanical, carpentry, painting, flooring, plumbing, concrete, electrical, landscaping, demolition, hazardous-materials work, HVAC, masonry, roofing, signage, tree maintenance, and related services. Contractors must complete the provided qualifications form, describe their company, services, public-entity experience, personnel, equity and diversity practices, and safe-workplace compliance, and provide four client references from the past four years. Selected contractors may enter into an on-call agreement and may later receive task orders or work authorizations, but work is not guaranteed. Task orders generally cover projects under $50,000, while work authorizations generally cover projects from $50,001 to $100,000; larger projects may be separately solicited. The agreement is effective through March 31, 2030, unless terminated or extended, and contractors must maintain applicable licenses, insurance, prevailing-wage compliance, and public-works bonding requirements.
