Description
This solicitation is for the manufacture and supply of pneumatic gears. The contract will require adherence to specific quality requirements and marking standards in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N. Changes in design, material, servicing, or part number require approval from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer via written change order. The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements, and records of inspection work must be maintained for 365 days after final delivery. Packaging, packing, and marking shall follow MIL-STD-2073. Document references, including military specifications and standards, can be obtained from the DODSSP website or specific Naval Surface Warfare Center divisions. Vendors must be authorized distributors of the original manufacturer and provide proof of authorization with their offer. Distribution statements on documents will dictate usage and safeguarding limitations. The solicitation also references specific CAGE codes and part numbers for the required items.
