Description
The Department of the Navy is seeking to procure flex shaft couplings. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring the contractor's signed acceptance prior to execution. The solicitation specifies that the contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements, and Government Source Inspection (GSI) is required. The contract will include requirements for manufacture and quality assurance, with records of inspection to be kept for 365 calendar days after final delivery. The government intends to add an option quantity to the resultant contract, which may be exercised within the timeframe specified by FAR 52.217-6.
