Description
The City seeks on-demand rentals of boom trucks and hydraulic cranes ranging from 10 to 150 tons, each with an operator, for routine maintenance, special projects, and emergency repairs at its utility facilities. Rates must include equipment, labor, permits, fees, transportation, mileage, fuel surcharges, and setup; the minimum rental period is four hours. For emergencies, equipment must be onsite within six hours or less. At least one business day’s notice will be provided for scheduled work. The contractor must provide rigging services when the City’s mechanical contractor is unavailable, with a minimum two-person team when rigging is required. If the contractor’s crane is unavailable within the required response time, it must arrange for another company to provide the support at no additional cost. The agreement term is five years. Quotes are evaluated on the lowest total cost for all line items, subject to responsibility and compliance requirements.
