Description
Seminole Independent School District 1 is requesting bids for one 10 GB school-site firewall under an E-rate Category 2 internal connections project. The requested scope includes the firewall, necessary components, software and licenses, plus installation and configuration, which must be priced separately from the equipment. Bidders must provide detailed equipment descriptions, including make and model numbers, functionality, entity location, total cost, eligible and ineligible portions, and applicable one-time charges. Equivalent equipment is acceptable. Bids must include all costs, separately identify ineligible charges, state service-level agreements, provide the applicable service-provider identification information and contract, and comply with E-rate requirements. Award is contingent on E-rate funding and school board approval; price is the highest-weighted evaluation factor.
