Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is conducting market research for approximately 300,000 doses of injectable egg-free influenza vaccine for the 2027–2028 flu season. The vaccine must be supplied in prefilled syringes, be FDA-approved for immunizing individuals age 18 and older, and be recommended by the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. The seasonal formula will be determined by the FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. An indefinite-quantity contract is proposed, with an estimated annual quantity of 300,000 doses, a guaranteed minimum of 75% of the annual estimate, and a contract maximum of 150% of the annual estimate. Delivery is planned to Defense Depot New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, with preferred deliveries of 40% by August 12, 2027; 25% by August 26, 2027; 25% by September 9, 2027; and the remaining 10% by September 23, 2027. The notice is a sources-sought announcement, and the formal solicitation is projected for October 2026; no solicitation documents or submission instructions are currently attached.
