Description
The Pickens County Health Department is soliciting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the interior renovation and remodel of their 6,425 square foot facility located at 60 Health Way, Jasper, GA 30143. The project aims to improve patient flow, privacy, accessibility, and overall client experience. The scope of work includes: * Remodeling the Clerical & Administration Area to improve functionality, reconfigure patient intake and check-out for HIPAA compliance and workflow, and create two additional rooms, including an immunization room. * Enlarging the staff breakroom by combining it with adjacent areas and updating cabinetry, sink, faucet, and countertop. * Converting an existing restroom to meet ADA compliance and accommodating access from two exam rooms. * Combining two small exam rooms into one larger exam room. * Repurposing two exam rooms into offices. * Updating all restroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, faucets, mirrors, grab bars, soap dispensers, and diaper changing stations. * Interior painting of existing and modified spaces, including preparation and repairs. * Removal and installation of new commercial-grade flooring throughout the building. * Replacement of existing light fixtures with LED lighting and installation of additional lighting as needed. * Additional items include installing built-in cabinetry in the conference room, replacing cabinetry and shelving in the Drug Storage Room, updating cabinetry, countertops, sinks, and faucets in specific exam rooms, converting doors, modifying HVAC, installing a hands-free bottle filling station, replacing ceiling tiles, and relocating/installing electrical outlets for wall-mounted televisions. Proposals must include contractor information, experience, proposed design and approach, project timeline, cost proposal, three references, proof of licensure, insurance, and bonding, and an E-Verify Affidavit.
