Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting seven new gas detectors, NSN 6665-01-628-0980, under a firm-fixed-price commercial product acquisition, with a 100% option for an additional seven units. The required part numbers are 6001-002359 and/or GVMCB-30RC178E-DS1, with approved sources identified as Rae Systems Inc. and Honeywell International Inc.; alternatives are subject to the solicitation's source-control and Government approval requirements. The detectors must comply with the applicable Technical Data Package, military preservation and Level B packing requirements, Special Packaging Instruction P6001-002359, inspection and acceptance at origin, FOB destination delivery, and DoD unique item identification requirements. The basic and option quantities are scheduled for delivery within 150 calendar days after the applicable award or option-exercise event. The TDP is controlled and requires appropriate access through the procurement system, including current DD Form 2345/JCP validation where applicable.
