Description
Madison County Mass Transit District is soliciting bids from a single contractor for the as-needed purchase, delivery, pumping, and monitoring of B11 biodiesel, seasonal standard ultra-low-sulfur diesel, and 87-octane unleaded gasoline during a one-year contract period from January 1 through December 31, 2027. The contractor must provide fixed delivery and winter-additive pricing, accept orders by email, fax, or telephone, deliver fuel to the Owner’s underground and aboveground storage tanks, manage spills and cleanup, and provide contingency plans for supply disruptions. The scope includes installation and operation of remote tank-monitoring devices for two aboveground commodities, daily tank-level reporting, fuel-quality compliance and testing support, and delivery from specified terminals in St. Louis, Missouri; Hartford, Illinois; or Wood River, Illinois. Bidders must demonstrate at least two years of documented experience supplying biodiesel and unleaded fuel and must be registered and licensed to transport and sell fuel in Illinois. The contract is an indefinite-delivery requirements contract, awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on total bid price.
