Valley Electric Association, Inc. is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for an IIJA-funded transmission right-of-way clearing project. The scope includes vegetation management, wildfire fuel reduction, access improvements, and restoration activities along approximately 12 miles of existing 138-kV transmission right-of-way in the Mountain Springs area. The complete RFP package, project maps, and supporting documents are available from the buyer's stated document source. Questions are due October 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., and proposals are due November 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The project is funded in part through DOE Grant Agreement DE-GD0000029.
