The Government of Manitoba is seeking to establish a standing offer with a qualified vendor to provide downhole abandonment services for government-owned seized and orphan oil wells on an as-needed basis. The work includes well evaluation, plugging, cementing, well control operations, abandonment activities, reporting, and related services, in accordance with Manitoba Petroleum Branch requirements. The standing offer is intended to support the ongoing abandonment program and reduce environmental, safety, and regulatory liabilities. The stated estimated contract period is 36 months.
