Description
The Town of Ramapo is soliciting formal bids for special events in 2027. The scope includes inflatable attractions and related event services, including giant slides, water slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses, haunted maze attractions, sand art, music or DJ setups, cotton candy, popcorn and sno-cone machines with supplies, generators, and uniformed on-site staff. Several events require staff to remain on site for each inflatable, and staff working with children must have appropriate background checks submitted with the bid. Proposed substitutions must include a picture. The solicitation covers six separately described events, with pricing requested for each item and a total price if all six jobs are awarded. Required proposal materials include the prescribed Bidder's Proposal, an executed and notarized Agreement, a sworn statement addressing experience, technical ability, and organization, a statement of exceptions, applicable background-check documentation, and conditional substitution and addenda materials. The successful contractor must provide workers' compensation, general liability and property damage, and automobile liability insurance; the latter two coverages require at least $1,000,000 limits.
