Description
The State of Minnesota, acting through the Commissioner of Administration on behalf of the Department of Public Safety, is seeking commercially available, off-the-shelf, battery-operated hearing protection products for Minnesota state agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture members. Products must fit inside the ear canal without requiring a fit test, support rechargeable or replaceable batteries, include ear tips, a user manual, a charging cable or battery, and a storage case, and meet a minimum noise reduction rating of 25 decibels and a maximum output of 80 decibels. Products must comply with ANSI/ASA S12.6-2016, and the responder must provide documentation verifying compliance. The resulting contract will support approved orders, quotes, tracking, invoicing, shipping documentation, and delivery to multiple Minnesota locations. The solicitation requires completion of the responder declarations, exceptions form, responder forms, additional information, order-processing response, and Exhibit D Price Schedule, along with a dated manufacturer’s or dealer’s price list and any required authorization documentation. Brokers will not be accepted; the responder must be the original manufacturer or an authorized representative or distributor. Services are expressly excluded from the contract.
