Description
The Military Sealift Command is soliciting one clean, approved U.S.- or foreign-flag, double-hull tanker for an approximately 90-day time charter. The vessel must carry at least 235,000 barrels of clean petroleum product, have inert gas and segregated ballast systems, meet specified size, draft, deadweight, speed, inspection, certification, crew, cargo-tank compatibility, sampling, reporting, and safety requirements, and support worldwide petroleum transportation and prepositioning missions. Intended delivery is in the Mediterranean Sea, with St. Theodore, Greece, identified as the intention; intended redelivery is in the Mediterranean Sea, with Piraeus, Greece, identified as the intention. Offers must include, at minimum, the vessel name, price, and signature, along with the required Tanktime vessel information, completed fuel-consumption spreadsheet, applicable representations and certifications, technical documentation, itinerary, stowage plan, vessel certificates, and cargo-quality records. Proposals may be submitted by email in PDF format, or alternatively by fax or mail/carriage to the issuing office. The solicitation is unrestricted and will be evaluated on technical acceptability and price, with award intended for the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer.
