Description
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center requires four C2 condenser units for their HVAC systems on 154 WPC vessels. The units must be from an authorized BITZER distributor. Specific military packaging requirements, including MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129R, are mandatory, with standard commercial packaging being unacceptable. Items must be individually preserved, packaged in appropriate wood boxes or crates, and secured for forklift handling. Marking must comply with MIL-STD-129R and be bar-coded per ISO/IEC-16388-2007 Code 39 symbology. Failure to meet packaging, packing, and marking (PP&M) requirements will result in rejection and delayed payment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item using simplified acquisition procedures, with award to be made on a lowest price technically acceptable, all-or-none basis for a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
