Description
The City of Fountain Inn is soliciting sealed bids for construction improvements at PD Terry Park, including pickleball and tennis courts, ADA-compliant walkways and parking improvements, asphalt paving, court surfacing and striping, curbs and gutters, fencing and gates, signage, landscaping, site furnishings, demolition, grading, erosion-control measures, and related work. The project also includes electrical utilities and court lighting, including a remote-controlled LED sports-lighting system with four 50-foot poles, a 25-year performance warranty, monitoring, and maintenance requirements. Bidders must submit the prescribed bid forms and supporting materials, including a bid security equal to at least 5% of the total bid price, a notarized non-collusion affidavit, subcontractor information, bidder qualifications and references, licensing information, and the required project information. The selected contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance before contract execution. The stated tentative start date is January 5, 2027, and the required completion date is April 30, 2027; liquidated damages are $250 per day for late completion.
