Description
The United Nations Development Programme, on behalf of United Nations agencies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is seeking up to three qualified travel agencies for a non-exclusive long-term arrangement. The scope includes domestic and international air-ticket reservations and issuance, fare comparison and lowest-logical-fare support, itinerary changes, cancellations, refunds, hotel and vehicle reservations, airport and ground assistance, visa facilitation, travel advice, baggage support, disruption management, and 24/7 emergency assistance. Selected providers must maintain appropriate local operations, IATA accreditation, required national licensing, global distribution system access, qualified personnel, traveler and transaction records, and service coverage in French. They must provide online booking and mobile capabilities where applicable, fare re-shopping, unused-ticket tracking, monthly and annual reporting, carbon-emissions reporting, account management, performance monitoring, and support for audits. The arrangement is initially one year with two possible one-year extensions, subject to satisfactory performance and price competitiveness; no minimum purchase volume is guaranteed.
