Description
East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is soliciting sealed or electronic bids from Louisiana-licensed contractors for repair, alteration, or construction work associated with the Tara High School Athletic Upgrades project, Project No. 9002-25/26-F01. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days from the commencement date stated in the agreement or notice to proceed. Liquidated damages are specified for late substantial completion and punch-list completion. Bids must include bid security equal to 5% of the base bid, including additive alternates, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or compliant bid bond. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds on the school board's forms. Contractors must hold a Louisiana license for the major classification of building construction. The project includes a Fair Share Procurement Policy goal of at least 20% participation by minority- and women-owned businesses.
