Description
The Philadelphia City Fund and the City of Philadelphia's Office of Clean and Green Initiatives seek qualified professional firms to develop a comprehensive, implementation-oriented strategy to increase diversion of organic and food waste from traditional disposal practices. The work includes evaluating composting, anaerobic digestion, and complementary strategies; assessing infrastructure investments, programs, partnerships, and supporting policies; and developing a practical short-, medium-, and long-term implementation roadmap. The selected consultant will also deliver pilot initiatives and related planning, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and implementation support. The solicitation identifies a total budget not to exceed $446,500, with $296,500 allocated to Tasks 1–3 and $150,000 allocated to Task 4; an infrastructure assessment is optional at the City's discretion.
