Description
The Virgin Islands Energy Office is soliciting proposals to engineer and construct a renewably powered, battery-coupled DC fast-charging network. The scope includes 100–150 kW EV DC fast chargers and corresponding equipment at the STT Market Square East and STX VIYA Building sites; 200–300 kWh battery energy storage systems at both sites; 30–42 kW solar panels at STT Market Square East; and a 165-mph wind-rated solar parking canopy at STT Market Square East. The solicitation package includes the RFP, scope of work, pre-engineering materials, site-visit information, a committee rating form, design-build and professional-services contract templates, and required supporting-document information. Electronic quotes are permitted, and a preproposal conference was conducted via Microsoft Teams.
