Description
Beatty Library District is soliciting proposals for incremental Internet access bandwidth options of 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 200 Mbps. The current service is 50 Mbps by 25 Mbps. Proposed services must not impose data caps or speed reductions based on usage, must terminate at the building’s interior demarcation point, generally the main distribution frame, and must support the Library’s SPI discount billing requirement. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027. Month-to-month and contracted services will be considered; contracted proposals should include 36-month and 60-month pricing. Proposals must separately identify monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, and any special construction charges, with no undisclosed additional charges. Providers must permit bandwidth increases during the contract term, allow penalty-free early termination if the location closes, and hold prices constant during the term. Services and equipment must comply with applicable FCC supply-chain restrictions, including the prohibition on covered Huawei and ZTE equipment or services.
