Description
Broward County is conducting a Request for Information regarding the proposed sole-source or sole-brand designation of ABB Inc. for switchgear engineering, repair, maintenance, retrofits, parts continuity, interchangeability, and replacement parts. The requested capability includes an industry-standard switchgear product line with electrical systems, spare parts, engineering, and services for ship-to-shore container cranes. The Port Everglades requirement covers 13 ship-to-shore cranes at the Southport berths. Vendors should state whether they can provide the specified services or an equivalent solution and upload relevant specifications or supporting documentation demonstrating comparable capability. This RFI is for market research and is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment.
