Description
The Harrison County Utility Authority is soliciting electronic bids for the South Gulfport Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier Rehabilitation Project. The work generally consists of removing, rebuilding, and replacing the mechanical equipment within one primary clarifier. Bids must be submitted electronically by contractors registered with the electronic bidding service and listed as plan holders. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds at par value, or a satisfactory bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid. For bids exceeding $50,000, the bidder must provide its Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed proposal; for bids not exceeding $50,000, the bidder must provide the certificate number or state that the bid does not exceed $50,000. The owner may accept or reject bids based on a lowest-and-best-bid determination.
