Description
The subcontractor will collect traffic data for a highway interchange study, including hourly traffic volumes at 20 locations using high-resolution video cameras over a 12-day period. Raw counts must be calibrated to represent total vehicle volumes, and the work must comply with applicable transportation agency requirements. The scope also includes floating-car travel-time and delay runs on six routes over a typical weekday and Saturday, with at least 25 runs per route per day; this work is to be priced separately. The subcontractor must provide the labor, equipment, permits, and approvals needed for the work. The subcontractor and assigned personnel must have at least five years of documented experience in safe traffic data collection and operation of the equipment, and personnel must hold the necessary certifications. Required insurance includes bodily injury and property damage liability, automobile and truck insurance, and workers’ compensation.
