Description
The USDA Forest Service seeks six water-cooled heat flux transducers for fire research: four radiant-and-total-flux sensors with 1-inch smooth bodies and two radiant-only sensors with 1/8-inch bodies. The sensors must use sapphire windows and Schmidt-Boelter-style measurement, measure up to approximately 250 kW/m², tolerate body temperatures up to 205°C, and have linear output with no more than ±3% nonlinearity. Gas purging is requested when possible. The quote must price all line items. Delivery of all six units is required by March 31, 2027; early delivery is acceptable. Past performance may be assessed using references supplied by the contractor and other available records.
