Description
The City of Maple Ridge, in accordance with the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, is a member of several cooperative purchasing groups: Sourcewell, Canoe Procurement Group of Canada, and Kinetic GPO. This annual notice informs that the City is eligible to procure goods and services through contracts administered by these groups. The participation term is from November 8, 2025, to November 5, 2026, with potential annual extensions. Further details and tender notices can be found on the BC Bid website. Interested vendors should contact the GPOs directly. Additionally, the City of Maple Ridge participates in the British Columbia Petroleum Products Buying Group (BCPPBG), Province of BC Corporate Supply Arrangements, and the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative. The City is also a member of the Lower Mainland Purchasing Group (LMPG), a consortium of approximately 20 municipal organizations in British Columbia focused on reducing public tax burdens through consolidated purchasing. The City may purchase goods and services under separate agreements if a successful bidder extends their offer to LMPG participants.
