BC Timber Sales, Okanagan-Columbia Business Area, is offering Timber Sale Licence TA2372 for the harvesting of timber in the Cooke - North Zone. The licence covers an estimated area of 22.8 hectares with a total estimated volume of 6,920 cubic metres, comprising Balsam (50%), Spruce (49%), Douglas Fir (1%), and Western Red Cedar (<1%). The licence term is 12 months. The total stumpage value is $269,534.00, and the successful applicant will be required to pay stumpage and a bonus offer. This is a cruise-based timber sale licence, and scaling of logs is not required for billing purposes. The successful applicant must comply with the BC Timber Sales Environmental Management System and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative standards. Tenders will only be accepted from individuals or corporations registered as BC Timber Sales enterprises in Category 4 - Value-added. The closing date for tenders is September 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
