Description
The Delaware County Regional Sewer District is soliciting bids for five sewer rehabilitation projects in Delaware County, Ohio. The base work includes cleaning, CCTV inspection, and cured-in-place pipe lining for approximately 2,020 linear feet of sanitary sewer across five locations; lining up to nine service laterals for five feet each; approximately 97 linear feet of open-cut eight-inch sanitary sewer construction; 84 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe abandonment; and site restoration. The project also includes traffic control, temporary bypass pumping as needed, contaminated sewer-debris transportation and disposal, chemical grouting, erosion and sedimentation controls, and flowable fill where required. An alternate provides UV-cured lining for 369 linear feet of eight-inch sewer on South Old 3C Road. The engineer's estimate for the base bid is $429,080. Bidders must submit electronically through BidExpress and provide bid security; a bid bond must equal 100% of the maximum bid price, while a certified or bank check must be at least 10%. Successful bidders must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. The work is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, and the contract provides 120 days from the Notice to Proceed for substantial completion and 180 days for final completion.
