Description
The University of Calcutta's Department of Genetics is requesting quotations from authorized suppliers for shotgun metagenome sequencing and analysis for six samples. The scope includes DNA sequencing library preparation; 2×150 paired-end NovaSeq sequencing generating 25–30 million reads per sample; sequence quality control and quality-based filtering; K-mer-based microbial identification using the NCBI nucleotide database; metagenome assembly; gene prediction; taxonomic identification; functional annotation using COG and KO; and results visualization through pie charts and Sankey plots. The supplier must provide a report containing methodology, results, and references. The quotation must include the current GST registration certificate, PAN, a registration certificate with statutory authorities, and other credentials. Quotations must be complete in all respects and submitted in a sealed envelope within seven days of publication of the notice.
