Description
The Stretesky Foundation, in coordination with Sedgwick County, is soliciting proposals for concrete work on the southeast corner of the Sedgwick County Courthouse lawn for a Veterans Corner project. The selected contractor must remove grass, dirt, and part of the existing concrete sidewalk; install a four-inch concrete base over a four-inch packed base with #4 rebar at 24-inch centers; and set bases for seven flagpoles within the concrete. The contractor must coordinate with electrical and sprinkler contractors. Sedgwick County will provide base material, a dump truck for hauling excess dirt and grass, and a truck for excess concrete. Bidders must submit documentation of all material and labor costs. The selected vendor must maintain workers' compensation, comprehensive general liability, and excess liability insurance and enter into a Master Services Agreement. Subcontracting or assignment is prohibited without prior written consent.
