Description
The Transportation Security Administration is conducting a virtual industry day for transportation security equipment manufacturers, checkpoint designers, checked baggage inspection system designers, systems integrators, airlines, airport authorities, aviation industry associations, and government entities. The event will address the Checkpoint Requirements and Planning Guide, Planning Guidelines and Design Standards, TSA enterprise screening, checkpoint design and best practices, TSA PreCheck, vetting, touchless screening, eGates, capability acceptance, and electronic baggage screening program planning guidelines. Attendance is limited to organizations meeting at least one listed eligibility category. Registration requires an email submission containing attendee and organization information, applicable category or categories, and a one- to three-sentence summary of relevant experience demonstrating qualification. This is a voluntary market-research and industry-engagement event, not a contract solicitation, and the government will not reimburse attendance or travel expenses.
