Description
Destination Canada is seeking a strategic in-market partner to provide integrated tourism marketing services primarily in Japan, with potential project-based support in South Korea and China. The scope includes market strategy and intelligence; consumer marketing; content, digital, and social media; media relations and public relations; strategic brand partnerships; travel trade development; industry engagement; event and experience management; translation, transcreation, and localization; and financial, procurement, and administrative support. The contractor must provide bilingual English-Japanese personnel, a commercial office in Japan, a dedicated account director and full-time travel trade lead, and the ability to attend meetings in person in Japan and internationally as required. The contractor may use qualified subcontractors for executional services but remains responsible for overall integration, quality, and performance. The anticipated annual value for Japan activities is JPY 50,000,000 to JPY 100,000,000, with a contract term of up to three years and up to two additional one-year extensions. Proposals are evaluated on mandatory compliance, technical merit, presentations, and pricing, with the pricing proposal submitted separately.
