Description
The U.S. Department of State is soliciting construction services to renovate the main pedestrian entrance, Chancery entrance, and adjacent pathway areas at the U.S. Embassy compound. The work includes removing and replacing approximately 725 square meters of existing pavement with heavy-duty architectural concrete tiles; restoring concrete planters with light- and dark-gray terrazzo; and installing terrazzo finishes on designated exterior and pathway walls. The project also includes replacing approximately 95 square meters of Chancery entrance terrazzo flooring, 73 square meters of adjacent wall terrazzo, and 72 square meters of stone-look porcelain wall cladding. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, temporary protection, transportation, waste disposal, quality control, and incidental work. Required proposal materials include pricing, a performance schedule, technical and business information, SAM registration, DBA insurance pricing, references for similar construction work, and applicable representations and certifications. The anticipated contract magnitude is $100,000 to $250,000, with work packages scheduled for 15 to 30 days after notice to proceed.
