Description
The Town seeks a contractor to resurface gravel roadways at Maple Wood Cemetery and Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Work includes site preparation and grading, supplying and placing clean Grade A, 2-inch-minus stone aggregate to the specified roadway profiles, and mechanical compaction. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, hauling, supervision, traffic control, erosion controls, and restoration, and protect cemetery features and maintain access for emergency vehicles and residents. The addendum clarifies that aggregate should be placed to a compacted depth of approximately 2 to 3 inches and that separate lump-sum prices are required for each cemetery. The proposal requires references for similar work, including contact names and phone numbers, and a list of equipment to be used. The contract is awarded on the lowest total proposal price. Substantial completion is required by December 4, 2026.
