Description
Racine County seeks construction services to renovate the sixth-floor courtroom and adjacent office areas at the courthouse. The work includes replacing flooring, replacing and painting ceilings, installing new cabinetry, and completing mechanical and electrical work in accordance with the provided plans and specifications. Proposals must include a one-page maximum cover letter, table of contents, executive summary, firm experience and financial statements, compliance with contract terms, the completed Cost & Proposal Form, total project price, and three comparable references. Bidders must demonstrate financial stability, at least three years of similar business experience, and proper Wisconsin licensing and incorporation. A bid bond or qualifying check equal to 5% of the bid is required; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract price. Work must be completed within 120 days after contract/PO award.
