Description
The project includes installing an 8-by-5-foot reinforced concrete box culvert and constructing a Portland cement concrete roadway. The estimated construction cost is $224,523.75. The contract duration is 100 working days, with an assembly period as needed to manufacture the reinforced box culvert. Bidders must hold a Louisiana license for Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. A bid security equal to 5% of the base bid is required; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Attendance at the December 3, 2026, pre-bid conference is mandatory. The apparent low bidder must submit the Contractors Affidavit and Contractors Attestation within 10 days of bid opening; these are post-opening requirements, not bid-submission items.
