Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks qualified contractors capable of engineering and constructing 10 standard or specialized earth-covered magazines for blast-resistant munitions and explosives storage. The anticipated work includes reinforced-concrete floors, structural walls, integrated roof slabs, reinforced steel blast doors, blast-resistant components, earth-cover backfilling and grading, lightning protection, grounded electrical infrastructure, and perimeter or structural security components. Interested firms must submit a capability statement and the attached questionnaire. The questionnaire requests company information, relevant experience within the past five years, experience on U.S. military installations in Japan, legal authority and licensing to perform construction in Japan, bonding capability, design-build experience, acquisition-approach recommendations, risk considerations, and projected capacity for work during 2027–2029. This is market research only and is not a formal solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
