The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District intends to issue a solicitation for storm sewer improvements at the Flossmoor Road viaduct in Flossmoor, Cook County, Illinois. The project will address frequent flooding by providing increased conveyance capacity and in-line storage for surcharged stormwater. The work includes construction of up to 500 linear feet of new 72-inch diameter trunk line storm sewer within the roadway right-of-way, as well as incidental related work, including pavement, sidewalk, driveway, and parkway restoration.
