The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for recurring janitorial services at its Tecate Platform Scale facility. The scope includes twice-weekly cleaning of offices, briefing rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, employee areas, floors, carpets, fixtures, waste containers, sidewalks, and parking areas, along with periodic carpet deep cleaning, floor stripping and waxing, window cleaning, light-cover cleaning, and other as-needed tasks. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, and operating costs. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run from June 1, 2027, or upon approval, through May 31, 2028, with one one-year extension option. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. Bidders must meet the mandatory 5% DVBE participation requirement, be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and satisfy the stated licensing, business-integrity, security-clearance, and submission requirements. Assigned personnel will undergo driver-license and fingerprint checks before facility access is authorized.
