The Navy is soliciting quotes for repair of a THRUST SHOE W/INSTR, reference number 482480-008. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered; proof of authorized distributor status must be submitted with the offer on company letterhead signed by a responsible company official. The Government seeks a 230-day repair turnaround time, measured from the contractor's receipt of the asset through Government acceptance. The contractor must perform inspection and testing in accordance with the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings, meet applicable quality and marking requirements, and report asset transactions in the Commercial Asset Visibility system. Government source inspection is required. The quote must state unit and total prices, turnaround time, pricing basis, and other requested repair, beyond-repair evaluation, and comparison-to-new-item information. An option quantity may be added, and late repairs may incur price reductions.
