Description
The Quonset Development Corporation is soliciting bids for the Davisville Road Relocation - West project. The work includes demolition of existing pavements, structures, utilities, and other site features; earthwork and grading; storm drainage and stormwater treatment systems; potable water infrastructure; underground electrical and communications conduits and vaults; rail crossing infrastructure; curbing, asphalt pavement, sidewalks, guardrails, fencing, epoxy pavement striping, miscellaneous concrete work, and related construction required by the contract documents. The project is subject to Port Infrastructure Development Program FY2025 grant requirements, applicable environmental and permitting requirements, Davis-Bacon wage rates, civil-rights requirements, and specified safety and access controls. Bidders must provide a 20% bid guarantee; the awarded contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. OSHA 10-hour construction safety programming, confined-space training and equipment, and applicable port access credentials are required. A public copy of the bid proposal must accompany the original proposal.
