Description
The Shiawassee County Road Commission is accepting sealed proposals for the 2026 Bituminous Paving Program. The work includes asphalt skip patching and bituminous paving at various locations in Shiawassee County, Michigan. The bituminous mixture shall be 13A conforming to MDOT specifications. Projects include overlay and scratch course paving, with completion dates of August 1, 2026 for scratch course and October 1, 2026 for overlay projects. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the State of Michigan for bituminous paving work or provide references. A bid bond of 5% is required, and performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Insurance requirements include auto liability, workers compensation, and commercial general liability.
