Description
The City of Victoria is soliciting tenders for the supply and delivery of specified Carmanah Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon equipment for pedestrian crosswalks. The requested items include solar engines and panels, batteries, light bars and replacement modules, audible pushbuttons, cabinets, mounting hardware, harnesses and wiring, controller assemblies, communications or remote-monitoring accessories, and related components. The City will accept only the specified Carmanah products; equivalent or substitute products from other manufacturers will not be accepted. The City anticipates purchasing equipment sufficient for approximately ten RRFB crosswalks annually, but quantities and item mix will vary based on site requirements, funding, and operational needs, with no minimum purchase commitment. Pricing must include delivery and related charges, and the tenderer must provide delivery timing, product literature or product summary information, and warranty information. Products must carry a minimum five-year warranty from shipment or delivery, subject to the stated manufacturer warranty terms.
