Description
Clemson University, through Clemson Rural Health, is soliciting fixed-price bids from contract research organizations and similar organizations with established research networks to support commercial clinical trials across Clemson Rural Health's clinical enterprise, including fixed clinics, mobile health units, telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and other research settings. Expected support may include identifying and presenting studies, site-feasibility assessment, study payment negotiation, staff training, research-data management, compliance support, recruitment, regulatory and ethical support, specimen protocols, quality oversight, and coordination of consent requirements. CRO responsibilities may vary by study and will be negotiated with Clemson Rural Health. This is a revenue contract: Clemson University will not pay CROs for their activities. CROs are expected to negotiate compensation with study sponsors, and Clemson University may share revenue generated by studies. Proposers must submit a signed cover letter, technical proposal, financial proposal, at least three similar-work examples, proposed personnel and responsibilities, and a maximum not-to-exceed commission rate of 90% through the online bidding system. Multiple contractors may be awarded, there is no exclusivity or guarantee of future business, and the resulting contract may not exceed five years.
