Description
The Department of the Air Force is soliciting proposals for the design, fabrication, assembly, and testing of program depot maintenance stands. These stands will be used for various aircraft maintenance tasks and must meet stringent design and safety requirements, including specific material specifications (aluminum and steel), adjustable height capabilities, and integrated utility systems (electric, compressed air, lighting). The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, management, materials, and facilities to complete the project, including detailed design reviews, fabrication, on-site installation, training, and delivery of operation manuals and drawings. The fabrication must adhere to various industry standards, including AWS, ASTM, NFPA, OSHA, AFOSH, and specific Tinker Air Force Base instructions. The contractor must also have at least 15 years of experience in aircraft stand fabrication and possess relevant certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 and welding certifications.
