Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting quotes for two General Dynamics URC-300 ruggedized UHF/VHF mobile radio systems for installation in fire command vehicles. The radios must support aircraft ground-to-air communications, AM/FM voice, secure cipher-text mode, 30–400 MHz coverage, 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing, integrated web-based configuration and monitoring, SNMP V3 remote control, rack mounting, and operation across specified AC, DC, and BB-2590 battery power sources. The systems must meet applicable ETSI, MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-810H, IP65, CE, RoHS, and REACH requirements. The requirement includes the radios, battery connector covers, DC power cables, palm microphones, amplified remote speakers and cables, universal mounting brackets and hardware, spring-loaded mobile antennas, and roof-mounted antenna brackets with integrated cables. Delivery is required within 180 calendar days after contract award, with installation access subject to base security requirements, background checks, and possible escort requirements. The solicitation is a combined synopsis/solicitation and a total small-business set-aside; quotes are due by email, and questions are due separately by the stated deadline.
