Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting offers for two autonomous solar-powered water stations in Makokou, Gabon, divided into two indivisible lots: one station at Zouatab and one at Mbolo. Each station includes geophysical testing and borehole construction, solar pumping equipment, a 5 m³ elevated storage tank, solar array, security enclosure, chlorination system, public water points, potable-water distribution piping, visibility signage, and operator training and starter kits. The work includes drilling, borehole casing and development, pumping tests and water-quality analyses, civil works, installation of hydraulic and solar equipment, construction of mini water networks and public fountains, and commissioning. Each lot has a maximum four-month execution period. Bidders must submit technical and financial information, relevant experience, audited financial statements, legal and tax documentation, key personnel credentials, equipment information, a work methodology and schedule, and the required pricing schedules. A site inspection is recommended but not mandatory; the preparatory conference is scheduled virtually for October 22, 2026.
