Description
The Port of Port Arthur Navigation District of Jefferson County is soliciting a contractor for construction of a turn lane and truck staging area under the TXDOT Seaport Connectivity SCP89 Project. The work includes furnishing materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and construction operations for subgrade stabilization, reinforced concrete paving, flexible base, storm sewer, inlets and manholes, fencing and gates, electrical conduit and conductors, lighting, demolition, traffic control, and erosion and sedimentation controls. The bid package requires a completed bid form, bidder information and certification forms, bid security, and other specified certifications and statements. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required, and the successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, insurance, prevailing-wage compliance, and applicable small-business participation reporting. The contract documents do not state a fixed contract duration; bidders must propose substantial and final completion times in calendar days.
