The Intermediate Unit 18 & 19 RWAN Consortium is soliciting proposals for high-speed broadband data communications transport and Internet access services for 27 school districts and K-12 organizations within the service territories of Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 and Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit 19. The services requested include standalone data transmission, leased dark fiber, leased lit fiber, category one network equipment, category one maintenance and operations, internet access and data transmission, and standalone internet access. Capacities range from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps. The contract may be multi-year with voluntary extensions, and flexible terms to accommodate growth or reduction in services are allowed. Bids are due September 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST.
